With BaseballSoftballUK’s new Performance Department in place, under the supervision of Head of Performance Systems Gary Anderson, the Academy will become a vital part of talent acquisition, development, and performance in the United Kingdom. As the programme is fully unveiled over the next weeks and months, BaseballSoftballUK is delighted to launch the new Academy LITE programme this autumn for Fastpitch Softball.

GB Softball Wins Silver at European Championships!

The Great Britain Senior Women’s National Fastpitch Softball Team achieved their best finish in European competition since 2009 on Saturday 30 July, winning the silver medal at the 2022 Women’s European Championship in Barcelona.

On a beautiful morning on 2 July 2022, on the grounds of the Birmingham Baseball Club, teams gathered to celebrate friendship, inclusivity, and to support the LGBTQ+ baseball and softball community by playing an all-day softball tournament in their most colourful attires!
