BaseballSoftballUK is excited to announce a new partnership with Sports Travel Tours. As part of the agreement, Sports Travel Tours will make a significant financial contribution to the MLB London Series Legacy Programme in 2024 and 2026.

Remembering Alan Bloomfield 1965-2024

BaseballSoftballUK joins the British baseball community in mourning the passing of Alan Bloomfield. A funeral service and celebration of Alan's life will be held at South Oxfordshire Crematorium on Wednesday, 6 March 2024 at 2 PM. Everybody who knew him is very welcome to attend.

NWS Single Sex Tournament Recap: A Northern Approach

The North West Series is one of BaseballSoftballUK's Development initiatives, providing playing opportunities for players in the North of England and Scotland who have fewer opportunities to visit the National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park. Last Saturday, 3 February, was the first North West Series event of the year, with players converging at the Soccer Factory in Rochedale for the Single-Sex Tournament.

Recapping the MLB London Series Legacy in 2023

The MLB World Tour: London Series returned to the United Kingdom in 2023 for the first time since the inaugural London Series in 2019. As part of the London Series, the Greater London Authority, British Baseball Federation, British Softball Federation and BaseballSoftballUK and MLB developed a range of initiatives to help bring baseball to more people and locations, ensuring that the impact of the games lasted long after the final out - the London Legacy programme.

MLB First Pitch Reaches 330+ Schools, 14K+ Children in 2023!

MLB First Pitch programme was first introduced in the UK in 2021 with the Youth Sport Trust, the UK’s leading charity improving every young person’s education and development through sport and play. Through the programme we are equipping educators and delivering training to teachers in schools. In 2023, more than 300 primary schools have taken part in the programme across the country, with schools from North Cornwall to North Yorkshire taking part.
