BaseballSoftballUK's Performance Testing programme is part of the agency's Performance Programme. Supported by the IOC Solidarity Fund, the goal of the Performance Testing is to:
- Benchmark current athletes in the Great Britain National Teams programme
- Identify athletes with the potential to play for a Great Britain National Team, measured against current and benchmarked players
- Unlock player and team performance, health and wellness with data-driven analysis and intelligence.
- Extend careers and enhance player pipeline and recruitment process.
- Enhance talent identification process.
- Leverage technology and analytics to support immediate and long-term performance strategy.
