LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM – Great Britain Women’s U15 Women’s Fastpitch Head Coach Alan Le Marquand and the British Softball Federation have today announced the 13 players who will represent Great Britain at the U15 Women’s Softball European Championship 2026. The European Championships will be held in Rosmalen, The Netherlands, from 27 July-1 August.

Athletes were selected in accordance with the British Softball Federation’s selection policy, which can be viewed here. The 13 members of the roster are as follows:

Performance Director Gary Anderson said, “The U15 Women’s Softball European Championship represents an important opportunity for us as we continue to build long-term sustainability into our performance programme and maintain the upward trajectory of Great Britain Softball . As Performance Director, and on behalf of the Performance Management Group, our focus is not only on current results but on creating a strong pipeline of talent that can support success at all levels of the game in the years ahead.”

Anderson continued, “This year’s championship gives us a real chance to make a positive impact on that journey, with a talented group of young athletes gaining valuable experience in international competition. I am looking forward to seeing this exciting squad in action on the European stage."

Head Coach Alan Le Marquand commented, “I am excited to announce the travelling team to the Netherlands for the U15 European Championships. We have a completely new team to the one that participated in 2024, with a lot of players coming into the program in the last 12 months.”

Le Marquand added, “For all of these players this is their first opportunity to represent Great Britain and a first step within the programme. While we have a short time together before we compete, the players have already being connecting with each other and finding out about current playing experiences. Everyone is now excited to get together in person and get into the event.”
