On Wednesday, 6th August, the Florida State University (FSU) fastpitch softball team will be visiting Finsbury Park for a special day of softball development and competition.

From 9:30 AM to 12:00 PM, FSU players and coaches will lead a youth clinic designed to engage and inspire the next generation of softball talent. The clinic will focus on core skills, teamwork, and game fundamentals, providing a rare opportunity for young players to learn from a top-tier NCAA programme. Two Florida State players are members of the Great Britain Women's Fastpitch National Team - Jahni Kerr and Jasmine Francik! 

Young players aged 6 to 18 are invited to register for the clinic and take part in this unique experience. Whether you’re new to the game or a developing athlete, this session will offer something for everyone, guided by elite collegiate coaches and athletes.

Following the clinic, there will be a lunch break, after which fans and families are invited to enjoy a 5-inning exhibition game between the FSU team and a 'GBFL Select Team' made up of GB fastpitch and high-level domestic players—a thrilling display of high-calibre softball.

All youth participants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

This is a free community event aimed at maximising youth engagement and promoting the sport of fastpitch softball in the UK.
