The National Baseball & Softball Complex at Farnham Park has emerged from winter hibernation for an incredibly busy 2026! With the complex booked for every single weekend between April and October, there’s never been a better time to visit Britain’s bespoke baseball and softball facility!

Farnham Park was opened in 2013, and has grown to host five fields, Home Plate Bar & Kitchen, and a tournament control centre opened in 2023. Over the past 5 years, the site has hosted a number of high-profile events, including the annual National Championships for each Federation, multiple MLB Elite Development Tournaments and the WBSC Blind Baseball International Cup in 2024. This year will see another international competition, with the British Softball Federation hosting the WBSC Co-Ed Slowpitch European Championships this summer, along with international training for the Great Britain Women’s Baseball Team ahead of their World Cup, the BSF’s National Softball League, the BBF’s Summer Cup, and so much more!

With the exciting news that the Wycombe Wanderers and Buckinghamshire Council have entered a long-term partnership for the future of the Farnham Park playing fields, BaseballSoftballUK’s staff have been heavily involved in planning for the site’s future. Meanwhile, Head Groundskeeper Saliya Wijesinghe has spent the offseason working extremely hard to maintain and improve the fields. The baseball mounds on fields one and two have been repacked, and the warning tracks on all four fenced fields have been weeded, levelled, and graded. Working with the BBF and BSF, BaseballSoftballUK has secured supplies from MLB to help enhance and improve the site during the season, and beyond.

2026 Improvements and Pricing

Ahead of the 2026 season, BaseballSoftballUK has worked with the Wycombe Wanderers and Buckinghamshire Council to determine how best to improve the site, including the changing rooms that BSUK does not own. Further information will be made available as plans are confirmed on site.

For the 2026 season, the price of dirt fields has increased by 5% and grass fields by 12.5% from 2025. While BSUK would prefer to keep pricing frozen, the increased cost of maintaining the Complex, and the goal of making the facility financially sustainable in the immediate future require this step.

Grab a bite at Home Plate!

Home Plate Bar & Kitchen is again open for the season and will be open every weekend from now through October. Enjoy a cold pint or a hot meal, and know that every purchase helps support the future of Farnham Park!
