With the Coaching Playbook now the new standard for coaching baseball and softball Coach Education in the United Kingdom, we have created a guide to transferrable and equivalent qualifications to help coaches make the transition to this new system, and to allow for foreign coaches to be recognised under the Coaching Playbook. Foreign and outside qualifications - with the excpetion of USA Baseball Coach C - will only be transferred until 16 June 2026, and must feature a formal assessment. Following this date, coaches must take the CORE Coaching Qualification Course to be considered a certified coach in the United Kingdom.
In order for a coach to have their qualifiucation recognised in the UK, they should send a copy of their Coaching Certificate, and a copy of the Course Syllabus to Coaching@BSUK.com. Coaches are not considered qualified until BSUK has received their previous qualification and has granted them the approprate equivalent qualification.
