BaseballSoftballUK manages the Great Britain Women's Softball programme through a delegation of authority with the British Softball Federation, which started in 2022. With the return of baseball and softball to the Olympics in 2028, the programme was the recipient of £1 million in funding - split with Great Britain Baseball - from UK Sport and Sport England in December 2024 for the lead-up to the Los Angeles games.

Led by Performance Director Gary Anderson, the Great Britain Softball programme has achieved the following under BaseballSoftballUK's management:

  • Silver Medal, 2022 European Softball Championship in Spain; Qualification for Softball World Cup (July 2022)
  • Inaugural Royal Spark Challenge with Oklahoma City Spark; first professional team to play in the UK (July 2023)
  • Wins over Australia (2020 Tokyo Olympic Participant), Chinese Taipei (then-world rank #3) and Ireland (perfect game, 5 innings) at Softball World Cup in Ireland (July 2023)
  • First-ever bid for U-18 team to play at U-18 Women's Softball World Cup (October 2023)
  • Debut at U-18 Softball World Cup in Brazil (July 2024)
  • Bronze Medal, 2023 U-22 Softball European Championship in Poland (August 2024)
  • Silver Medal, 2023 European Softball Championship (September 2024)
