Birmingham Bandits to run Baseball for Beginners course

Mon 18 May 2015

The Birmingham Bandits from the BBF’s Triple-A Central Division will be running a Baseball for Beginners course in partnership with Sportivate.  The course will begin on Wednesday 27 May and run for an initial period of six weeks.

BSUK has secured the funding to run the course as part of a wider programme to establish baseball again in the city.

Sessions will run from 6.00-8.00 pm at Marston Green Recreation Ground, Bickenhill Road, Birmingham B37 7EL.  All equipment will be provided and the fee will be just £2 per player per session

The sessions will be open to adults and to young people over the age of 13, and will provide an introduction to the rules and skills of baseball.  The aim is the formation of a second Bandits team, affiliated to the BBF and playing in the Double-A Central Division in 2016.

The course will be run with BSUK-qualified coaches and the sessions are fully insured.  For more information please visit www.facebook.com/BirminghamBanditsUK or contact Duncan Hoyle on: dk401@hotmail.co.uk.
