    BSUK changes Board members and seeks a new Chair

    Three new Non-Executive Directors were appointed to the BaseballSoftballUK Board at the organisation’s Annual General Meeting on Sunday 3 December, as the Board said goodbye to Chair John Walmsley after six years of service in the role.

    Games get under way in the North West Junior Baseball/Softball League

    BSUK staff in the North West have been running junior sessions for the past two years, with the aim of developing a local league.  This plan came to fruition on 12 November when the first indoor game of the current school term was played.

    Softball Canada’s Mark Smith to be Coach Summit keynote speaker

    Mark Smith, who is the High Performance Director and Women’s National Team Head Coach for Softball Canada, will be the keynote speaker for fastpitch softball at BSUK’s third annual Coach Summit,to be held on Saturday 27 January 2018 in Milton Keynes.

    LGBT groups feature in North West development work

    Working with LGBT groups has been a priority for BSUK’s North West development team for a number of years, and BSUK’s partnership with Pride Sports in Manchester has shown the LGBT audience there how inclusive a sport softball is.
