    BaseballSoftballUK recently completed a complete overhaul of the Team Finder application on its website, An invaluable tool to help new and prospective players find local baseball and softball teams, clubs and leagues, this is an upgrade of the former Diamond Finder that has been a fixture of BSUK’s website since 2011.

    Rainbow Haven and BaseballSoftballUK bring softball to refugees and asylum seekers in Manchester

    Outreach work for refugees and asylum seekers in Manchester began this past week as a result of a new partnership between BaseballSoftballUK and Rainbow Haven, a charity based in Salford who provide community drop-in sessions, offering support and activities for refugees, asylum seekers and vulnerable migrants.

    On Saturday 21st September, around 40 female and non-binary players joined in a day of relaxed practice and games of softball in blazing sunshine in North London’s Clissold Park.

    Baseball features at London disability sports events

    Baseball featured for the second straight year at the annual Disability Sports Coach (DSC) Summer Festival, held on 26 July at Westway Sports Centre in London, and there will be a disability Baseball Festival at the same site on Friday 9 August.

    Fastpitch softball demonstration a success at NUSC

    Over 50 university women took a break from competing at the National University Co-ed Slowpitch Softball Championship at Farnham Park on the weekend of 14-15 October to try their hand at hitting fastpitch pitches thrown by GB Softball’s sophisticated pitching machine.

    Second North West Series tournament to run in Manchester on July 1

    The second one-day slowpitch softball tournament in the North West Series, designed as a great introduction to softball for rookie teams or for C-grade and D-grade rec teams looking to have some fun, will be played on Saturday 1 July at Parrs Wood High School in Didsbury, Manchester.
