Schools Competition
According to the most recent School Sport Survey conducted by the Department for Culture, Media and Sport, 74% of secondary schools offer softball. But the game is mostly played during curriculum time and is often not offered as an extended competition opportunity.
BSUK works closely with the Youth Sport Trust and the wider school sports network across the country and is in the final stages of completing a comprehensive Competition Framework for our sports. It is hoped that softball will be included in the School Games in the near future.
