In March last year, BaseballSoftballUK introduced a system that assigned a member of staff to every baseball club and softball league in the country, known as the Point Person system. Sportivate to provide sporting opportunities for teenagers and young adults

A new Sport England initiative called Sportivate will give young people aged between 14 and 25 the chance to receive six-to-eight weeks of coaching in a sport of their choice and will support them to continue playing sport in their community after the coaching period ends.

Eleven new coaches earn Level 1 qualification in the North West

Eleven coaches from baseball clubs, softball clubs and schools in the North West of England have earned their Level 1 qualification during a course held in February. This group of newly-qualified coaches will add significantly to the region’s voluntary coaching workforce.
