REQUIREMENTS FOR ATTENDANCE AT THE BSF AGM
Here are the criteria for attendance at the BSF AGM for teams and members. The BSF AGM Pack with full details on all matters to be considered at the AGM will be sent out to members shortly and will be available as a download on the BSF website: www.britishsoftball.org.

LEAGUE REPRESENTATION AT AGMs:

Every league (unless specific exceptions are made on application to the BSF Executive) is required to send a representative to the BSF AGM in order for that league to be eligible to send teams to the next National Championships in any format. Regional Heads (eg, the LSF Director or Regional Representatives on the BSF Executive, if any) cannot replace league representatives for this purpose. BSF Executive members can choose to attend the AGM in their capacity as League/Team Representatives and not as Executive Members, but they can only vote in one capacity.

TEAM REPRESENTATION AT AGMs:

All Teams competing in the Premier, Platinum and Gold Nationals are required to attend the AGM following an appearance in one of those National Championships if they wish to compete in any National Championship during the year in which that AGM is held. Any other team must have a representative from its league present at an AGM in order to be eligible to compete in any National Championship during the year in which that AGM is held.

APPEALS:

Teams can apply for dispensation to not fulfil these requirements until up to 10 days before an AGM (in this case February 17, 2010), and can appeal the application of these rulings until up to 28 days after the AGM (in this case March 27, 2010). Appeals are to be made in writing to BSF President Stella Ackrell through the Contacts Page on the BSF website and copıed to BSF Tournaments Officer Liz Graham.
